RC Drilling
A mineral exploration drilling rig,
currently valued at almost $1 million
has been designed and constructed by
local family business, B & C Lehmann
Drillers.
The business objective was to put
together a new drill rig which was user
friendly, that met all the latest OH & S
requirements, and with a good
professional crew, would be attractive
to mining companies. The ultimate was to
secure the first contract within an
hours travel of Kimba.
Both Mark and Barry Lehmann designed the
Rage Rig, and Mark built the
machine. Valuable assistance was
provided by Kym Johnson and a Lehmann
employee, Christian Mathews. The
design incorporated the best ideas from
a range of rigs that the Lehmann's have
observed or worked with over the years
All our operators are suitably trained
and know their OHS&W obligations.
We have current certificates for
Workcover, Insurance Indemnity to the
value of $20,000,000.00 and have OHS&W
polices and procedures.
